A few years ago, I found myself looking at the life I had built and thinking, “Surely there’s another level to this.”
I live in Raleigh, North Carolina with my wife, our two kids, and our energetic puppy who keeps us all on our toes. Our daughter is just starting dance classes, our son is into basketball, baseball, art and comics, and life is full in all the best ways.
I’ve lived here my whole life, and there’s a lot I love about it. We’re close to the mountains, not far from the beach, and it’s a great place to raise a family. But like many driven people, I spent years focused on building, working, and providing… always chasing the next level of success, yet feeling like there had to be more freedom somewhere along the way.
I didn’t just want financial growth. I wanted a life that felt bigger, more flexible, and more aligned with the future I truly envisioned for my family.
Growth changes everything when you stop putting limits on what’s possible.
THE BUSINESS LIFE I KNEW WASN’T THE FINAL ANSWER: I’ve spent most of my career in sales and business ownership. Before roofing, I worked in window treatments, insurance sales, and even served six years in the Marine Corps Reserve. Eventually, I built my own roofing company and have been running it successfully for years.
Looking in from the ‘outside’, things looked solid. I had built something from the ground up, earned great money, and created opportunities for my family. But traditional business ownership came with pressure too. Long hours, constant responsibility, local market limitations, and the feeling that stepping away, even briefly, was difficult.
The roofing industry taught me a lot, but it also showed me how easy it is to become locked into a business that depends entirely on you being there. I started asking myself if there was another way to build success… one that created more freedom instead of more weight to carry.
THE SHIFT THAT OPENED MY THINKING: Personal Development had already been part of my life for years. From my time in the Marines to the books, training and growth I pursued along the way, I had seen firsthand how much mindset shapes results.
I’ve always believed most people are capable of far more than they think they are. Too many people settle for limits they’ve unconsciously accepted, financially, professionally and personally. Personal Development helped me see that growth changes everything.
When I came across this business model, something immediately clicked. The combination of personal growth, global reach, remote flexibility and unlimited potential felt completely different from anything I had experienced before. For the first time, I saw a business that wasn’t tied to one city, one industry, or one ceiling. A business where helping people to grow personally could also create financial growth and lifestyle freedom at the same time.
